Kadak means strong and bold. A staple drink throughout South Asia, it’s flavorful and aromatic containing natural antioxidants, immune boosting ingredients and a slow releasing form of caffeine for better healing and living.

You might’ve had a watered-down version of masala chai at your local cafes, often called a “chai tea latte” or “chai latte”, but these lack the authentic ingredients and are usually full of syrup and refined sweetener instead.

Chowpatty’s Kadak Masala chai is the best chai in the game. We’ve mastered how to make bold masala chai using house special blend of whole spices. We use natural unrefined cane sugar (Jaggery) which brings smokey and earthy flavor to our chai to make the most robust chai you’ve had in a long time.

Yes, we do. We sell Masala Chai premix with our house-special whole spices. Just add water, milk and sweetness and your Masala Chai is ready in 5 minutes. Check out our Chai is Dope page.

Masala chai is rich in anti-oxidants, detoxifying and very beneficial for those suffering from congestion or flu. It gives feel good factor, stress reliever and has a very low caffeine like 50mg in 8oz as compared to 120mg caffeine in same amount of coffee. We also don’t use refined sugar for sweetness.

Masala Chai is authentically made by boiling water with crushed fresh ginger, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and fennel seeds but spices change made on the region. Black pepper and a pinch of carrom seeds can be added for an extra punch. After boiling for couple of minutes, throw in a tablespoon of loose black tea leaves. Boil for another minute and then add whole milk. Boil for another minute or two. Add sugar as per your taste or replace sugar with raw cane sugar for deeper and bold flavor. Vada pav is one of the humblest vegetarian fast food dish native to Mumbai and hugely popular as fast snacks. It consists of a deep-fried special potato masala dumpling covered with chickpea batter placed inside a pav bread bun sliced through the middle. It’s served with tamarind chutney, spicy mint chutney and sprinkle of special garlic flavored masala called Thetcha. What truly sets Vada Pav apart is its versatility.
